Castle Rock Bakery and Coffee Hosting Blood Drive Saturday, December 29, 2007
December 27, 2007 SEATTLE —We can always offer donors juice and cookies. But hosting a blood drive at a bakery just seems like a match made in heaven. And if you are looking to end this year or begin the New Year with an exceptionally kind act, Castle Rock Bakery and Coffee are offering an opportunity to do just that.
Castle Rock Bakery and Coffee will be hosting a special Year-end blood drive this Saturday, December 29, 2007. By participating in this special blood drive you can end the year by giving one of life’s most precious gifts, life saving blood.
The holiday period is traditionally a time when donors are busy with other plans. As a result, blood supplies can be lower than usual. It is only through the generosity of donors that blood is available to answer every need with their gift of life. And most of us will, as some point, need donated blood as part of a treatment or to save our lives. About one in seven people entering a hospital will need blood.
